Closing out Q2 strong, June delivered over $1 billion in total deal flow! The month closed with $367.5 million in funding and $700.9 million in disclosed M&A, across 16 funding rounds and 14 acquisitions. Here’s a quick summary:

  • Geography: Funding activity in June was heavily North America-focused, accounting for $91.6M, with Europe contributing a minimal $7.9M.
    On the M&A side, North America led with 66.7% of the deals, while Asia-Pacific accounted for 33.3%, continuing the regional diversification seen in recent months.

  • Sectors: ‘Funding was dominated by the ‘For Executives’ segment at 79.6%, with ‘For Athletes’ making up the remaining 19.5%.
    In M&A, deal count was more balanced: ‘For Athletes’ led with 35.7%, followed by ‘For Executives’ (28.6%) and ‘For Fans’ (14.3%).

  • Top Deals: Teamworks raised $235 million in a standout Series F round, with a $1 billion valuation. Hulu was acquired by Disney Streaming for $439 million, leading M&A activity for the month.
