November 2025: Monthly Investment Roundup

November 2025 was a quieter month for deals, with a total $110.3M in funding across 12 rounds and all M&A deal values undisclosed. Still, some solid strategic bets kept coming, particularly in sports operations and data analytics.

Here’s a quick summary:

  • Geography: Funding was led by North America (53.1%), followed closely by Asia (44.2%), while Europe contributed just 2.7% of total investment.
M&A activity was also concentrated in North America (66.7%), with the remaining 33.3% occurring in Europe.

  • Sectors: Funding was dominated by the ‘Management & Organisation’ segment, which captured 70.2% ($77.4M) of total capital raised. ‘Activity & Performance’ followed with 29.8% ($32.9M), while ‘Fans & Content’ saw no new funding activity this month.
M&A activity leaned similarly toward the ‘Activity & Performance’ sector (66.7% of deals), with ‘Management & Organisation’ accounting for the rest (33.3%).

  • Top Deals: Fastbreak AI raised $40M in a Series A round from investors including TMRW Sports, Patrick Cantlay, NBA, NHL, and Greycroft, leading November’s funding activity.

The rest of 2025 told a different story though. January kicked things off with nearly $4B, thanks to massive rounds from Napster, DAZN, Oura, and Teamworks that set the tone for the year. After steady activity through mid-year, things heated up again from July to October as 4 out of 5 months crossed the $1B mark. Meanwhile, M&A saw major consolidation moves: Flutter went to 100% ownership of FanDuel, Disney took full control of Hulu, and Allwyn scooped up PrizePicks.
