🎮 The NFL, NFLPA and 2K launched NFL 2K Playmakers, a new non-simulation tactical card battler mobile game for iOS and Android devices, developed by Cat Daddy Games.
📢 DivInc’s Sports Tech Accelerator announced their Spring 2024 Cohort, where 10 startups will take part in the 12-week hybrid program, to use technology to drive innovation across human performance, fan experience, future of media & NIL.

🏀 The NBA banned Toronto Raptors’ Jontay Porter, for violating league rules by disclosing confidential information to sports bettors, limiting his own participation in one or more games for betting purposes, and betting on NBA games.
🏃♀️ Legendary US Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson is set to launch a track and field league and has secured over $30 million from investors and strategic partners for the same.
⚽ FIFA is close to an agreement with Apple that would give the tech giant worldwide television rights for a major new tournament: a monthlong, World Cup-style competition for top teams that will be played for the first time in the United States next summer. More Football anyone?
Money Talks:
💰 French startup Rematch, offering the best of amateur sport filmed by spectators, raised €1.5 million in a round led by Intervalle Capital.
💰 The Social Change Fund United (SCFU) Led by NBA legends Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade, is set to invest $230,000 in two new initiatives - We Got Next and Legacy. SCFU focuses on backing organizations that advocate for communities of color.
🤝 US based Infinite Reality has been busy shopping. They recently acquired the Drone Racing League for $250 million and acquired Stakes for $8 million in stock, solidifying their position as global leader in immersive technology & experiences.
